Lifestyle Newborn sessions or to be a little more specific, home Newborn sessions is something new that I have added to my packages. I am blessed to have a beautiful studio in Centurion. It is not your typical studio, its way more “lifestyle” orientated. I love capturing images that look like you are at your home or a hotel but without the worry of what I might have to work with. When it comes to doing shoots at my studio, I know what I have to work with and my natural lighting situation.
When it comes to doing a shoot, specifically a Newborn shoot at an unknown location there is always a chance that I might not have the best room to work in when it comes to natural light that is available to me. I do all my Newborn sessions with natural light.
End of last year my friend asked me to do her Newborn shoot at her home and I gave it a shot. To my advantage, she is also a photographer so she knew the rooms in her home that we could use have a lot of natural light. The shoot went so well that I decided to add this option to my packages.
Back to the shoot at hand. Meet little Christiaan, the cutest little guy! Oh my word I could just kiss him from head to toe. Those squishy little toes and the tummy and back roles are what newborn sessions are made of. Linki & Christiaan Snr had a lovely room where I could do the Newborn session and also a beautiful bedroom for their photos with Christiaan Jnr.
